Is the Royal Canadian Mint preparing for $100 per ounce silver?

Coin collectors prepare for higher price silver

The News UNIT has learned that many silver enthusiasts have been watching silver again especially as the Royal Canadian Mint in Canada has been minting new 1 ounce coins marked at $100 face value and some 2 ounce coins at $200 face value.  Many of these official government minted coins are limited editions and have limited mintage quantities.  They are selling out rapidly at reasonable prices just slightly above their face value.

The higher face value of these limited mintage collectible numismatics has prompted some questions as many perceive the mint may be privy to some soon coming price increases for the precious industrial metal.  There are many who claim silver supply is diminishing and the mint is preparing for a silver price increase and a supply disruption.
